Economics and Finance Intern

ABG Commercial Realty, a real estate firm located at 307 Cambridge St in East Cambridge, MA is seeking interns with an interest in finance/economics. We welcome the submission of resumes from dynamic, analytical, creative and highly motivated individuals to join our exciting internship program.

The functions of a finance & economic major intern will assume responsibilities that include but not limited to property valuation, review different analysis methods, calculating net operating income and review and discuss capitalization rates. The position will leverage prospect leads and work with agents to enhance the business interaction. The intern will conduct analysis, database creation and maintenance, and more in support of the management and agent team in a variety of operational decisions and issues. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work with individual agents to maximize prospective client leads. 

• Engage in bench marketing studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement. 

• Compile key business metrics and report on them to management. 

• Maximize the data mapping of due diligence fields and comparable information. 

• Develop a process and methodology to review prospective valuations. 

• Work with marketing/communications interns in compiling data 

• Building good rapport and developing strategies to enhance growth. 

Desired Qualifications: 

 The candidate should have an interest in commercial realty and be willing to work independently as well as with an individual agent. Good communication and writing skills are required. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including a high level of proficiency in Excel and power point.
