PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provides administrative support to Human Resources staff in the areas of recruitment, employee engagement, social media and outreach related activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIE
- Supports projects in the areas of social media recruitment and outreach related activities.
- Participates in development and distribution of marketing materials.
- Assists in enhancement of HR section of Treasury homepage.
- Participates in market research and survey efforts.
- Assists in the preparation of meeting materials and presentations.
- Updating and tracking SOP, manuals, policies & procedures.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in general office duties, such as typing, scanning, filing, etc.
- Social Media Content and Creation
- Other HR duties as assigned.
- Commitment to15 hours per week required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong verbal and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform duties professionally with discretion and confidentiality as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma plus one to two years of undergraduate studies resulting in general knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Work Schedule:
The internship program will allow you to work Monday through Friday (except for holidays) for a minimum of 15 hours to a maximum of 37.5 hours a work week from June to August over a 10-week timeframe. You must also be able to travel to the Boston Office location a minimum of 1-2 times a week based on your work schedule.
Compensation:
The hourly pay for high school interns will be $18/hour ($2,100/intern); for undergraduate interns $20/hour ($2,700/intern); for graduate interns $22/hour ($3,300/intern)
