Human Resources Intern
Job Summary/ Primary purpose of this position:
The Human Resources Intern will focus primarily on recruitment and new hire orientation. They will work with all departments to understand needs and job specific requirements and will work to match candidates to open roles. They will perform recruitment searches and will organize candidate interviews with member of the management team.
Reports to / Supervision Received:
Executive Team
Essential Functions:
Research LinkedIn and other job posting boards for suitable candidates
Research and reach out to candidates with similar roles in other companies
Develops and maintain a tracker/data base of candidates.
Work with Executives and Hiring managers to report out on progress and recruit suitable
Candidates
Produces detailed, polished communications
Produces concise, informative updates for the executive management team
Possesses a high degree of comfort proactively reaching out to candidates via phone, email and social media
Other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
Detail oriented with very strong organizational skills
Comfortable with social media
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office or comparable products
Enjoys interacting with the public and possesses profession phone skills
Education Required:
Student pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
Minimum Experience Required:
Entry Level, Intern
