Onshape Architecture/FeatureScript Intern
Onshape is a next-generation Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product development platform that helps businesses of all sizes modernize and accelerate their design and manufacturing processes. The cloud-native platform is the only all-in-one system that combines robust computer-aided design (CAD) with powerful data management and collaboration tools. Onshape helps extended design teams work together faster from any location and helps executives make better decisions with real-time business analytics and unprecedented visibility into their company’s operations.
Your Impact
The intern will work with the team to extend Onshape, by developing new functionality, or improving performance or infrastructure. The specific tasks will depend on the intern's interests and abilities.
Your Team
Our interns do the same kind of work as full-time software engineers (just on a shorter time scale). Each intern will work closely with a mentor and other engineers (including on other teams, mostly R&D but also UX and QA), as appropriate, who will guide them through our codebase and help learn the ropes.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Write new code
- Have your code tested and reviewed
- Fix bugs
- Discuss and demo your work
- Attending meetings and tracking progress in JIRA
Basic Qualifications:
- Software engineering experience
- Experience working on a development team
