Financial Aid Staff Assistant

Job Description/Responsibilities: 
Assist with filing/scanning financial aid documents. Assist students with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online as well as the NECC student portal (Title IV authorizations and accessing email, health insurance waivers and loan documents). Assist in customer service duties that include but are not limited to covering lunch breaks, answering phone calls, emails, and walk in questions. Candidate will support the financial aid team with daily process and work on other non-specified duties and projects as assigned.
 
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of the NECC portal, FAFSA website and general computer navigation helpful. Customer service experience is a plus. The ability to multitask. Bilingual (Spanish and English) applicants encouraged to apply.
