Human Resources Intern

 Job Description - Human Resources Intern


Position Summary:   
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, this position assists in organizing and filing the HR department's files. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizes HR paper files.
  • Scans and maintains employee personnel files in the Docuware system.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Assists with department projects and audits.
  • Assists the Human Resources Generalist as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. 
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills with a proactive approach to learning.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Workplace. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience utilizing Docuware. 

 

Reports To:

Director of Human Resources

 

Terms of Employment:

Fully in-office, temporary internship lasting approximately until December 2026. Flexible schedule with availability of up to 40 hours per week.

 

Salary:

The pay for this internship is $18 per hour.
