Position Title: Membership Services and Event Coordinator Paid Intern Supervised by President & CEO
Company Information: The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce is a regional business association dedicated to supporting businesses and fostering economic growth in the Nashoba Valley area. Qualifications: We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and organized.
Intern should be familiar with Microsoft Office and social media platforms, such as
Facebook and Instagram. The individual should have excellent communication skills and a positive customer service attitude. Attention to detail is a must. All majors are welcomed (Business and Communication Majors preferred). Open to undergraduate (enrolled in a degree program) or graduate students.
Responsibilities: Working at the Chamber of Commerce is dynamic and community-focused, offering the opportunity to build connections and support local businesses through networking events and initiatives.
Specific duties to include:
- Work with employers to increase awareness of job opportunities with member businesses in the region.
- Work on planning, marketing, coordination of vendors, and more for the 22nd annual Taste of Nashoba event in March 2025.
- Assists with various marketing for the Nashoba Valley Chamber (social media, weekly email newsletter to 3000 business leaders in the region).
- Other projects as determined.
Timeline and Hours: 10-15 hours/week, approximately January 15 - May 1
Compensation: $15/hour.
